Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Pre-Send Check handles information when you use the service.

Information we collect

Pre-Send Check collects the email address you provide so we can manage purchased checks, associate credits with your email, and help with support requests. We also process the text you submit in order to generate your check results.

Drafts and submitted text

Drafts are sent to OpenAI's API to generate your check. Pre-Send Check does not save draft text or generated results to its application database. Your current browser tab temporarily retains the draft so it can survive checkout or a refresh. That browser copy is cleared after a successful check or when the tab is closed.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Pre-Send Check does not store your full card number or payment credentials. Stripe may collect and process payment, billing, fraud prevention, and transaction information in accordance with its own policies.

Service providers

We use third-party services for hosting, database operations, payment processing, analytics, and AI processing. Submitted text is sent to OpenAI's API to generate the check output. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default. This service disables response-object storage, although OpenAI's standard API controls may still retain abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days. See OpenAI's API data controls.

Sensitive information

Do not submit confidential, regulated, legally privileged, medical, financial, or highly sensitive personal information. Pre-Send Check is intended for general professional drafting and communication review.

Data we store

We may store your email address, credit balance, transaction records, and basic operational records needed to provide the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and respond to support requests.

Analytics

We use privacy-focused analytics to understand general site usage and core product interactions, such as whether visitors view an example, begin a draft, start checkout, or complete a check. We do not send draft text or email contents to our analytics provider.
